Who am i? 

Hello and welcome to my website

My name is Damien Juvet. I am Swiss, born and raised in the canton of Fribourg. This privileged location in the centre of Switzerland has enabled me to travel easily throughout this magnificent country from a very young age, and to discover all its beautiful places and hidden gems. As I wanted to combine my passion for Switzerland with my professional life, I decided to obtain a formal qualification in the field of tourism. Having successfully completed a 3-year course, I have obtained a diploma in tourism management.

 

For several years, I was also a guide  in one of Switzerland's most popular tourist attractions: La Maison Cailler. I then decided to fulfil my dream of working indipendently, and finally opened Private Tour Switzerland in 2023. Alongside this activity, I am also a qualified social educator.I work in a residential home for teenagers with autistic disorders. 

 

From my own experience as a keen traveller,  I know that organisation is the key element to a successful trip. This is exactly why I am here with my knowledge and skills to make sure you can enjoy an unforgettable and carefree trip. With me, you will get off the beaten track and discover an authentic Switzerland. I work alone, so you will have the advantage of having a single point of contact before and during your trip.

 

My tours are only available on my website. I don't work with other agencies or hotels, for example. This allows me to offer reasonable prices as there is no extra margin for third parties.
