We start the day with a must-see visit to the Maison du Gruyère, where you can delve into the fascinating history of traditional cheese-making. Be enchanted by the aromas that fill the air as you watch the craftsmen perpetuate an age-old skill. We continue with the medieval castle of Gruyères, perched on a green hill overlooking the Alpine landscape. You can soak up the medieval atmosphere as you wander through the cobbled streets, admire the imposing ramparts and visit the richly decorated rooms. As an option, you can also visit the HR Giger museum, dedicated to the Swiss artist who brought the Alien universe to life. At lunchtime, you will have the chance to indulge in the food for which Gruyère is famous. Enjoy an authentic meal in one of the region's picturesque inns, such as a melting cheese fondue accompanied by a refreshing glass of local wine. We then continue our journey to the Maison Cailler. This museum dedicated to chocolate invites you on a sensory journey through the world of cocoa. Explore the different stages of chocolate production, enjoy gourmet tastings and immerse yourself in the captivating history of this delicious sweet. The tour starts in the morning at a time that suits you. It generally lasts 7/8 hours. The departure point is flexible.
